Taboo

Another successful outing for BBC drama, capturing the dark grime and casual violence of early 19^th century London. Tom Hardy embodies a Jekyll-and-Hyde-like clash between civilisation and savage, which plays out also—more duplicitously—in the form of the East India Company.
