A predictable plot, ending in old-man fizzle, yet quintessentially 1980s. With the returning actors/characters performing to expectation, Taylour Paige is assured and Joseph Gordon-Levitt brings nuance beyond franchise benchmarks. Kevin Bacon doesn’t even pretend not to be the villain. Undemanding but enjoyable.
