Firefly: Return to the Earth That Was, Part One
by Greg Pak; ill. Pius Bak, Ethan Young & Simona Di Gianfelice (BOOM! Studios, 2021)
Pak attempts to recreate the TV show’s action/humour space western vibe, but the story loses itself in murky renderings, which would be easier to follow had BOOM! sprung extra for using the original actors’ character likenesses. Instead, it’s all a bit generic.
