Quirky historical crime series pairing Harry Houdini (irreverent sceptic) with Arthur Conan Doyle (gentlemanly believer in the supernatural) alongside London’s first female police detective (independently minded, a capable foil to both). Highly enjoyable and therefore, unsurprisingly, canned after this first 10-episode run.
