Baking Bad

Baking Bad by Kim M. Watt (Nielson, 2018); audiobook read by Patricia Gallimore (Isis, 2021) A quiet village mystery that ambles along without any real intrigue, switching (sometimes overlapping) viewpoints between characters who, while quirky, aren’t perhaps quite as riveting as the author intended. Obfuscated by the various comings and goings there is almost no actual investigation.
