Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased), Series 2 by Charlie Higson (BBC, 2001) Series two manages somehow to up the zaniness levels. Reeves & Mortimer aren’t particularly good actors but their performances are in keeping with the series’ quirky remove from reality. Tom Baker remains wonderful (and toothy as ever) as Marty’s white-suited spirit guide.

Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased), Series 1
Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased), Series 1 by Charlie Higson (BBC, 2000) Higson offers up a set of weird and wonderful scripts in this comedic remake of the 1960s supernatural detective drama. Reeves & Mortimer are wooden at times in the lead roles but also genuinely funny in an off-the-wall, zany kind of way.
