Tiffany Aching is one of Pratchett’s great characters, and on this occasion also brings out the best in Granny Weatherwax. Miss Treason is a fine one-off. The Nac Mac Feegles add colour. The actual Wintersmith storyline, however, devolves into a muddled non-event.
