Asterix and the Chieftain’s Daughter

While the illustration remains unimpeachable, the text (or translation?) seems a little too concerned with wordplay-saturated asides, to the detriment of genuine storytelling. That said, the focus on Gaul’s next generation and handed-down expectations adds something to the mix beyond mere pastiche.
