Two Years Eight Months & Twenty-Eight Nights

by Salman Rushdie (Jonathan Cape, 2015)

Rushdie_Two Years Eight Months

Salman Rushdie has either gone senile or gone out of his way to make this novel stylistically inaccessible. The title references Scheherazade, yet if this had been Rushdie telling stories for his life, the book would be half a chapter plus obituaries.
